Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Lifecare, on Tuesday July 23, 2024. Violet (nee Steinhoff), of Paris, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late George Fairbairn (1962). Loving mom of Larry (Joan), Ken (Johanna), Joanne (Mike) Almert, Debbie (Derek) Harrington and Marylou Speers. Cherished grandma of 14 grandchildren, GG of 33 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Clarence (Deanna) Steinhoff. Predeceased by her siblings; Minnie, Carrie, Lily, Huis, and Fern, son-in-law Glenn Speers and grandson Brian Speers. Violet will be fondly remembered by her many extended family.
Family & friends are welcome to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Paris Cemetery.
