Donna Belle Luella passed at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday March 20, 2024. Donna (nee Oesch) of Cathcart, in her 91st year. Cherished mother of Marilou Ramerth. Loving Grandma of Kristy (Paul) Nicola, Australia, Kristina (Brian) Greaves, Georgetown, Julia (Adam) Vengroff, Stephanie Ramerth, Smithville. Special Great-grandma of; Theodore and Dominic Nicola, Abigail and Brogan Greaves and Brennus, Keeva, Rykker and Emmerys Vengroff. Predeceased by her husband Jim Csonto (2003) and son-in-law Sieg Ramerth (2011). Donna leaves behind her brother Jim (Joan) Oesch and sister-in-law Annie Csonto, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
Beginning her career as a teacher, Donna became the owner of Csonto’s General Store in 1955 and bookkeeper for her husband’s business Cathcart Auto Parts for many years. A huge “Thank you” to Dr. B Vu, Karen, Dr. M MacLeod, and her nurses for their care. An everlasting “Thank you” to Lori, Sandy, Kathy and Pat for everything they have done for mom and I.
Family and friends will be welcomed at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 11-1 followed by a Celebration of Donna’s Life at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the War Amps or Sakura House.
