Ron passed peacefully on May 02, 2024 at the Perth Community Care facility. Ron is predeceased by his beloved wife, Claudia. He was a proud father and grandfather.
Ron, proud Queen’s alumnus known for his meticulous nature and keen attention to detail, enjoyed a full career at Parke-Davis in Brockville, Ontario. In his retirement, he lived a good life with Claudia, enjoying friends, family and especially time at the cottage in Golden Lake. Those who had the pleasure to know him remember him fondly for his love of fishing, boating, and “tinkering” – he could take anybody’s garbage and always turned it into treasure.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Perth Community Care facility, especially Julie and Yveta, who treated him like family in their devoted care to Ron over the past 4 years.
Ron will be dearly missed by Katie and Phillip.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
As per Ron’s wishes, services will be private.
