Entered into rest suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on May 30th 2024. Michael Gerard Dwyer in his 93rd year, Beloved husband of Reine Dwyer (Nicole) and dear father of Francis Dwyer (Janell Dautel) and Martin Dwyer (Annette Boivin). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Gavin and Brooke Dwyer as well his one sister Caroll Camilleri (Paul deceased). Predeceased by his brother John and by his two sisters Mary Lou Reeves and Janet Dwyer.
Michael was a member of the Ontario Teachers Association. He taught in London for many years, and spent a number of years volunteering as well. After moving to Brockville in 2000 he continued to volunteer for Loaves and Fishes, and Palliative Care.
Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville from Tuesday June 4th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church on Wednesday June 5th at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Donations made to St. Francis Xavier Church, Mass Intentions or to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
