Donald Johnson passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge with his family by his side on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Donna Johnson (nee Renwick). Loving father of Debra LaBarge (Wayne) of Kingston, Dave (Lisa) of Cardinal and Dianne (Harold) of Plum Hollow. Grandfather to Tori Boshart (Andrew), Christi Cowell (Jay), Brian Johnson (Jennie), Tim LaBarge (April), Cody Johnson, Kirsten Johnson (Nick) and Mitchel Johnson (Gabby). Step grandfather to Emily Morrison (Andrew), Ben Knapp (Tina) Jordan Knapp (Samantha) and Lacey Knapp (Luke). He was the great grandfather of Jayce, Aidan, Emma, Adelissa, Zachary, Charlie, Max, Rory, Griffin, Emerson, Navy, Indie and Owen. Step great grandfather to Charlotte, Kael, Sophie, Eamon, Bailey and Lochlan. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Audrey Pike and Doug Johnson (Michelle) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Della Johnson, his siblings Allan (Barb), Garnet (Shirley), brother-in-law Gary Pike and by his great granddaughter Kyla Rose LaBarge.
A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville. Donations to the Holy Trinity Oak Leaf Church or the St. Lawrence Lodge Activation Team would be greatly acknowledged by the family.
