PETTIGREW, Ryan Donald William- Age 43 of Petrolia passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home. Beloved son of Clifford “Ross” and Deborah Ann Marie Pettigrew. Father of Jackson and Charlotte. Dear brother of Dana (Greg) Stephens and Derek Pettigrew. Special nephew to several Aunts and Uncles. Ryan will be missed terribly by many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and all who knew him. Predeceased by his grandparents Don and Leila Pettigrew and Francis and Norma Haight. Also by his beloved and closest cousin D’Arcy Mercer. Ryan was a lover of the outdoors. He loved biking and hiking through the bush, and sitting around a bonfire. He was often found with a guitar in his hands and loved jamming and singing with friends. If it wasn’t a guitar in his hands, it was a carving knife. He always had a project on the go! Ryan was very social and a friend to everyone. You were sure to get a big wave and a “hello” every time he saw you. If you were really lucky, he gave you a nickname! Ryan was a proud dad. Jackson and Charlotte were is biggest joy!
Funeral Service
A funeral will take place at St. Phillips Church, Petrolia on May 25, 2024 at 11:00am. Reception to follow at St Philip parish hall.
