Jack Muntz Obituary
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Jack Muntz in his 81st year. Belove husband of 60 years to Barbara (nee Durocher). Loving Dad to Caralee (David) Brown, Taryl (Chris) Watson, and Barbi (Darin) Cleary. Dearest Gramp to Josh Cleary, Lexi (Matt) Verboom, Ty and Mitch Brown, Kennedy, Sydney and Chase Watson, all of whom he was so proud. Devoted “Great” to Sloane, Quinn, Blaire and Charlotte. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gary (Minta) Muntz and Ron (Edith) Webber, Gerry (Mary) Durocher and Greg (Lisa) Durocher. Predeceased by his parents Helen and Bus Muntz, sisters Geraldine (Leo) Reise, Doris (Lloyd) Young, and his in-laws Jean and Frank Durocher. Jack was so loved by many. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Blue Jays fan. He loved Port Dover and driving his boat on Lake Erie. His devotion to his family knew no bounds. He loved his Lord and we take comfort in knowing that we’ll be together again some day. Thank you to the staff on C5 and C7 at the BGH, especially Dr. Syed and Dr. Legere for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N. Brantford from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Jack’s life will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Deborah Dempsey officiating. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
