Donald Mervin Pym, born on August 18,1933 in Usborne Township, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Peel Manor in Brampton. He was 90.
Beloved father of Dawna and husband of the late Doreen (nee. Niles). Dear brother of Eloise Eagleson (Jack) and Harold (Joanne), as well as the late Marion Whate (Michael), Jack (Barb), and Stan (Cathy).
Sadly missed by dear friend Audrey and all her family. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.
Don was a committed member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows for 59 years. He also loved ballroom dancing and big band music, fixing devices, and discovering all the latest new gadgets and tech.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South in Brampton. Visitation from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. All are welcome. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
