BARBARA REID (nee Ferris)
Passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on June 22 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest Reid for 34 years. Loving Mother to Stephen(Kelly) and Kevin(Sarah). Proud Grandma of Cameron, Christian, Kaleb and Addyson. Cherished sister to Joan Ouellette(Guy), the late Doug Ferris(Carol) and Ken Ferris(Wendy). Barbara will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of her extended family, colleagues at Lakeridge Health, her Salvation Army Church community and Scouting friends she made over the years.
Friends may call for visitation at Morris Funeral Chapel(4 Division St., Bowmanville) on Tuesday, July 2, from 2-4 and 6-8PM, with a funeral service to be held at the Salvation Army Community Church(75 Liberty St. S., Bowmanville) on Wednesday, July 3, at 11AM. Interment to follow at Bowmanville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to either the Salvation Army Food Bank(sabowmanville.ca/) or Heart and Stroke Foundation(www.heartandstroke.ca/) are greatly appreciated.
