Deborah Fay Purdy (nee Markland)
Died peacefully on June 13th, 2024 at Northumberland Hills Hospital with her family at her side. Born June 6th 1954 in Picton Ontario to George and Helen Markland (new Cooke).
Debby will be dearly missed by her loving husband of over 50 years Steve, her children Tammy (Kevin), Scott (Rachael). Predeceased by her son Joseph. Loving grandmother to Wyatt, (Rosalind), Mackenzie (Dallas), Isabella and Lilyanna as well as her great grandchildren Levi and Paisley.
Debby found great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they will dearly miss the phone calls and the FaceTimes with grandma.
Deb will also be missed by her brother’s Ted (Deb), Bob and all of her nieces and nephews.
Deb has suffered with COPD for many years, we pray she is free from pain, from discomfort, from oxygen tanks and is free to do whatever she wants. Our hearts may be broken now but there is confort in her peace.
We would like to thank the ICU of Northumberland Hills Hospital, especially the nurses for their care and compassion during this most difficult time.
