It is with profound sadness that we announce that on 23 December, 2024 April Hillier passed away due to a brief illness at the young age of 58. A wife, sister, mother, aunt, friend and family member to many she loved and cared for.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Dale (Hillier), together for over 22 years. Her two daughters Brandy (Chandler), spouse Tyler and 4 children. Kari-Ann (Ricketts), spouse Shawn and their 4 children. Her brother AJ (Pacey), spouse Crystal and 2 children. Sheila (Alexander), spouse Kevin and their daughter. Let’s not forget the many step children, nieces, nephews and extended family she loved as her own.
April embraced everyone with open arms and an open heart. She loved the outdoors, travelling and visiting new places. What she loved most was spending time with her family, friends and 2 dogs Misty and Sadie. She was the most generous, compassionate and courageous person anyone could have known. She had a huge impact on the lives of others she touched. She will forever be loved and never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held for April in the spring, details to come at a later date.
