Passed away peacefully at Hospice Huronia in Penetang, Ont. on Wednesday April 24, 2024 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Bronte. Will be sadly missed by daughter Darlene Fountain (Bill), son Paul Bickell ( Tammy), stepson Gary ( Lynn), stepdaughter Suzanne. Will be remembered by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by siblings Ruth, Grace, Elva, Audrey, Katherine, Helen and Don and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Katie Bickell and by siblings Alma, Jack and Joe.
Special thanks to Hospice Huronia for the compassionate care provided to Dad in his final days. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Legion, 517 Mara Road, Beaverton, Ontario.
