Madeline Cook – 1926-2024
Surrounded by family, Madeline (Maddy) Cook peacefully left this world to join her beloved husband Charlie on Aug 1,2024 at Albright Manor in Beamsville. Born in Pontiac Michigan on March 25, 1926, she was the cherished daughter to the late Curtis and Isla (Dew) Culley. Besides her parents, Madeline was pre-deceased by her precious husband of 49 years and his parents Clarence and Emma Cook.
Maddy will be greatly missed by her sister Sonia (Charles) Stocking, her children Crystal, Tim (Carole), Carey (Johanne), and Charlene (David) Jaggard, her cherished grandchildren Jeremy (Jodie), Brad (Melany), Abe Klassen, Angela (Chris) Cook-Kanellopoulos, Tamara (Brandon) Wartman, Olivia (Christian) Maillet, Sarah-Jane (Michael) Granholm, Debrah Jaggard and great grandchildren Lauren, Sydney, Abbey, Mackenzie, Trent, Owen, Katie and Peter. She will be fondly missed by extended family, Len, Debby, Ben, Katie Falco and cousins, nephew and friends.
“Never too old”, Maddy brought joy for many years through music, playing the piano at senior’s care facilities in Dundas area and singing/performing with the Thursday Afternoon group in Dundas.
A sincere thank you to the staff of Albright Manor for their kind and gentle care of our dear Momma Girl and to Tallman Funeral Home for Mom’s final care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tintern Church of Christ, Spring Creek Road, 4359 Spring Creek Rd, Vineland, on Saturday, September 7 from 2-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Great Lakes High School or Albright Manor.
