Constance Smith Obituary
Suddenly at home in Barry’s Bay at the age of 67. Connie is survived by her mother, Theresa (Stamplecoskie) Shulist, her siblings, Richard, Dave (Diana), Mel (Edith), Betty Ann (Paul Hammel), Marilyn Glofcheskie, Jerome (Doreen), Brian, Tony (Rose) and Lyle (Karen). She is predeceased by her father, Martin Shulist, sister Debbie (Darrell Recoskie), and sisters-in-law, Colleen Shulist and Karen Livesey. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Connie lived in Toronto and worked as a P.S.W. for most of her life and fortunately was able to spend her last two years back in the Madawaska Valley, closer to family. Connie’s family and friends will remember her for her deep faith in God and her generosity. Connie has been cremated and there will be no visitation as per her wishes. Interment of her ashes will be held in the spring of 2025 , St. Mary’s Parish, Wilno. Donations may be made to Parkinson’s Society or the Madawaska Valley Food Bank in her memory. Rest in peace Connie, you are now free to fly with the angels.
