John Ward slipped peacefully into the next realm on September 12 2024, with loved ones by his side, at Belleville General Hospital. He is dearly missed by family and friends who knew and loved him. A lover of animals and the outdoors, John was an award-winning landscape and nature photographer, successful entrepreneur, and owner of Anderson Lake Bed and Breakfast. Known for his warmth, humour and kind and gentle nature, John was devoted to his life long friends and family, and his dogs Houdini, Nugget, and Gizmo. He lived a peaceful life, taking joy in music, art, conversation, and finding just the right light for his beautiful photographs. He is pre deceased by his parents Fred and Doris. In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
