David Hugh Laundry passed away peacefully, with his son Kris by his side on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Quinte Healthcare North Hastings at the age of 70 following a lengthy illness. Dave Laundry, loving father of Kris (& Tanya), cherished partner of Brenda Nunn and dear brother of Karen Devenish of Peterborough, Mark (& Tracy) of Simcoe, Cathy (& Tony) Garcia of Oakville and Scott of Bancroft. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Bessie (Malloy) Laundry Dave will be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. Dave was born and raised in Bancroft and has owned and operated his own business, Birds Creek Developing, for over 35 years which has now been passed on to the very capable hands of his son, Kris. His love of the outdoors, winter trips south with friends, being at the cottage of Kaminiskeg and his love of operating heavy equipment and his knowledge thereto connected will live on in the memories of those who knew Dave.
