Peacefully at Maple View Lodge Athens, on Tuesday July 9th, 2024. George Judson age 93 years, beloved husband of the late Margaret Aleen Chamberlin. Loving father of Debbie Judson (Ron Murray) of Kingston and Greg Judson (Kelly) of Athens. Proud grandfather of Danielle, Ryan and Eric. Also survived by a special friend Karen Sanders of Charleston. Predeceased by his parents, Lyman Judson (Marion Robinson) and one sister, Joan Johnston and her husband Bill.
Visitation will be held at the Judson Funeral Home, on Friday July 12th, from 1-3 p.m and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life (fellowship and a nip for the nippers) will be held at Cedar Valley Golf Course on Wednesday July 17th, from 2 – 5 p.m. For those wishing to attend the grave-side service, it will be held at Glen Elbe Cemetery on Wednesday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Athens United Church or Maple View Lodge, would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
