Suddenly at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Wednesday August 7th, 2024. Donald Eber Lawson of Charleston Lake, passed away at the age of 88 years. Eber is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Marie) Covey. Loving father of Cathy, Daniel (Louise), Karen and Margaret (Gord). Special grandfather of Danielle (Jesse), Kevin, Eric (Courtney), Megan (Ivan), Sarah (Andrew) and Josh. Eber will be missed by his great-grandchildren, Dominic, Mia, Zackary, Khloe, Henri, Olivia, Theodore and Angus. Also survived by siblings, Helen LaPointe and David Lawson. He will be deeply missed by son-in-laws, Bruce Gray and Allan Sanders. Predeceased by brothers, Chuck, Ernie and Billy. Also predeceased by his parents, William & Marjorie Lawson, Margaret & Daniel Kelsey and uncle Frank Crozier. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Special thanks to the Dialysis unit and staff, at the Smiths Falls District Hospital, especially Darlene, Shelly, Jessica, Trish and Gary.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home Athens, on Monday August 12th, from 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held at Glen Elbe Cemetery.
