Sydney Flynn
passed away suddenly on Friday October 4th, 2024 in Minto, Ontario at the age of 11 years. Sydney was born in Fergus, Ontario on May 22, 2013. Sydney Mae Flynn is the daughter of Tamara (Tyler) Flynn, Nicholas (Katie) Flynn. She will be deeply missed by her younger brother Carter and step siblings Auzzie and Owen. Sydney will be lovingly remembered by her Grandparents Jeff and Teena McKee (Arthur), Don Flynn (Drayton), Great Grandparents Harold and Joyce McKee (Arthur), Joyce Culp (Arthur) , Sharon and Don Flynn ( Kitchener) and Annie Donkers (Stratford) , Aunt Kayla Thompson – Culp (Arthur) and Uncles Josh (Erica) McKee (Guelph) Jacob Flynn, Blake Flynn, her cousins Dylan and Lucas Addley and her extended family, as well as her current and past schools and communities.
Predeceased by her Oma Francine, Opa Henry, Great Grandmother Dolly and Extended family Great Grandmother Maryann.
Sydney was known by all her friends, family, and teachers as an outgoing, bubbly and energetic girl. Her favorite activities were soccer, swimming, having her hair and nails done, and hanging out with her friends and family. Sydney had dreams of being a nurse and since very young always wanted to become a Nanny.
The McKee’s will be hosting:
A celebration of Life which will be held in spring 2025 and further details will be announced closer to that time.
The Flynn’s will be hosting:
A Celebration of Life is being held in Mount Forest at the First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus St N. on October 16th, 2024 from 5-8pm. A sharing time will take place at 7pm.
As expression of sympathy, donations to the Children’s Mental Health Society or St. Mary’s Catholic School in Mount Forest would be appreciated and may be made through Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira
