Obituary of Lorna Anne Hanneman
(nee Price)
While surrounded by loved ones, prayers and human angels, Lorna passed away peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata on Monday evening, July 8th, 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gareth “Garry” Hanneman.
Mother of Mark (Mary), Jeffrey, Stephen and Chris (Danette).
Preceded in death by her father William R. Price (A Home Boy); her mother, Myrtle (nee Hogan) Price; brothers: Dr. Brian Price and infant Dennis; brothers-in-law: Arthur King and Louis Vachon.
Lorna loved her adorable grandchildren: Luke (Hot tea), Emma (Matt), Samuel (Danielle), Isaac (Sarah), Ivy (Robert), Molly, Eva Grace, Garry (Avori), Greta (Rachael) as well as her 2 great grandchildren: Florence and Finley.
She is also survived by her siblings: Joyce King (late Arthur), twin Joan Lambert, Robert (Gemma), Gwyn (Rick Keeler) and Cathy Price.
Special thanks to Dr. Marahaj and Dr. Rivington who showed her great care on her journey.
Lorna’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Saturday morning, July 13th at 10 o’clock.
Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
A reception will take place in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Hall following the interment.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or Hospice Care Ottawa (Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice).
