Obituary of Lorie Mills
Lorie passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute with family by her side.
Lorie was the loving mother of Tara (Matt) and Lindsay (Pat) and partner of Marc.
Predeceased by partner Andy Hook.
Lorie was the daughter of the late William and Barbara Mills and is survived by siblings: Billy (Pat), Jim (Brenda), Susan (Denis), Kathy (Dan) and Sandra (Bill).
She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Lorie was a former employee of Boeing, Arnprior and a longtime employee of Scintrex Trace Corporation in Ottawa. She appreciated her work family.
Over the years, Lorie enjoyed the outdoors, biking, running, cottaging, camping, bingo and listening to live music. She also loved her cat, Monkey.
The family expresses thanks to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Critical Care Unit.
Lorie’s final care has been entrusted to the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
A celebration of Lorie’s life will be held at a future date.
