It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Gervais on Thursday April 25, 2024 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, he was 76 years old.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Theresa Gervais. Loved father of Michelle Matouk (Charles), Danielle Beausaert (Chris) and predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth Manuel (J.P.) Loving popo pere of Meghan (deceased), Lindsay, Ben, Kate, Johnathan, William, Matthew, Caroline and great-grandchildren Aurora, Savannah, Alexandra and Greyson. Predeceased by his siblings Juliette, Ernest, Leonard, Clarence, Laurence, Theresa and Edna. Denis will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E. Alliston on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
Denis had a love of aircrafts and could name any plane that flew overhead. He liked to say “ I spent 35 years at Air Canada at 35,000 feet”. Denis also worked for The Attorney General at Newmarket and Barrie, for 13 years as a Court Services Officer.
