It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Midlige on November 2, 2023, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Midlige (2000). Loving mother of Linda (predeceased 1981), Norma (John predeceased 2019) and John (Marilyn). Proud grandmother of Christina, Charlene, Stephen (Caitlin) and Michelle (Cody). Great grandmother to Tristan, Tyron, Isaiah, Camron, Liam and Lucas.
Doris (famously known to the family as GG) was an avid sports fan and card player. We will miss her wit, sense of humour and jokes. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great children and took pleasure in chatting and joking with them. Doris was a special woman who was kind and generous to the end.
Special thanks to the staff at Orchard Villa Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care during Doris’ final days
Visitation Details: In keeping with Doris wishes, cremation will take place, followed by a private family graveside service.
