Obituary
STODDART, Kenneth Alton – 79, It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our grampa, Ken. On June 21, we had to say our goodbyes to the man who meant the most to us. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle against his declining health. He was born on October 4, 1944, to the late Olive and Kenneth Stoddart in Bear Point, where he happily lived his entire life. He was a peaceful and quiet man, who loved a good argument. He felt most at home close to the ocean, as it gave him a sense of freedom. He was a very generous man, so much so that he would leave his doors unlocked without fear of someone stealing because if they did, they must have needed it more than him. He was a dearly loved father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived for his family, for which he was so proud of. His eyes would light up when he was in their presence. During his free time, he enjoyed reading, being on the water in his fishing boat, trips to the camp, goose hunting in PEI, evenings at Tim’s chatting with friends, and most of all, being under the Cuban sun. Our hearts will miss him forever. We are supposed to love this life without him, which seems impossible. Our family is now missing the person that we all loved so very much. Even though forever wouldn’t have been long enough, we are thankful for the many years we were able to spend with him. Life is different now; life will never be the same without him. We are thankful for 79 years of his love. He will be dearly missed by those who love him. Kenny is survived by his children, Lisa(Mike);Trent(Angie); Todd(Jill); Toby(Kyle); his grandchildren, Tineah(Ghislain); Kenzie; Brookelyn; Mikaila(Nick); Keigan; Noah; Gaige; Drew; Laylen; Jakob; his great grandchildren, Avery; Ivy; Wylder; Sunni; his sisters Gertrude(Harvey); Grace. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Olive Stoddart. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no memorial service. Donations can be made to the Bear Point playground and/or JDRF.
