Audrey’s Obituary
WARREN, Audrey Alaine – Age 86 of Villa St. Joseph du Lac, Dayton, formerly of Gilbert’s Cove, Digby Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Villa. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Florence (Hackett) Miller.
Our mother enjoyed many pastimes including sewing, knitting, cross stitching, gardening, and also ran a well attended ceramics class in her home. Mom was very talented and creative, bestowing many of her creations to her loved ones. She was proud to knit hats and booties for babies at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Our mother was the rock of the family and loved us without abandon, fought for us when we were right and supported us when we were in need. We love you and will miss you forever.
Audrey is survived by her children, Todd (Debbie) Anderson, Ashmore, Digby Co.; Beth Anderson, Arcadia; Allaine (Joseph) Clattenburg, Leominster, Massachusetts; Claire (James) Goucher, Roxville, Digby Co.; grandchildren, Matthew (Angelle) Oliver; Faith (Kiruba) Jambugeswaran, Truro; great grandchildren, Hudson Oliver, Easton Oliver, and Sawyer Oliver.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Brian A. Warren, father of Claire; and her husband of 13 years, and the father of Todd, Beth and Allaine, Peter R. Anderson.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to send a special Thank You to the health care workers of Sara Corning at the Villa for taking wonderful care of their mom.
