Aiden’s Obituary
Aiden Léo Goodwin
December 7, 2004-February 25, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected and tragic passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and dear friend.
Aiden Léo Goodwin was born December 7, 2004, in Yarmouth. From a young age, Aiden’s warm smile and kind heart were evident to all who crossed his path. He effortlessly forged friendships with anybody and everybody wherever he went, whether at school, in sports, among colleagues, within the community, or even with strangers he had just met.
Aiden was the type of person who cared so deeply about those he loved. He was a compassionate and caring soul and was always just a phone call away from anyone who was near and dear to him – he made that known. He was often found checking up on his friends, asking them to go for drives, going to the gym, or just hanging out. He always lit the room with his infectious smile wherever he went. A bright light has been taken away from us.
Aiden was a hard worker, loved his truck with the loud exhaust, loved gaming with friends and was often heard screaming at the top of his lungs while playing video games. He also loved country music, wheeling, cologne, going out to eat with friends, and going to the gym. He especially loved and cared for his family and his many, many friends. There are not enough words to describe the impact Aiden had on our lives.
Aiden is survived by his parents, Lise and Joel; brother, Elias; grand-parents, Simone & Earl Muise and Marlene & Kevin Goodwin; aunts/uncles, Nicole (Alec) d’Entremont, Robin (Bobbi-Jo) Goodwin, Paul Brannen-Goodwin and Jody Malone; cousins, Mylène, Maxime and Manon d’Entremont, Charlee Nickerson & Ivy Shand; and many friends whom he loved deeply.
Please join us in celebrating Aiden’s life, his love for others, and the lasting imprint he leaves on our hearts at the Yarmouth Fire Hall, Sunday, March 3, 2024 between 2-4 p.m.
The family would like to send a sincere thank you to his friends for always being by Aiden’s side especially those who were there when he took his last breath as well to the first responders.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Donations in memory of Aiden may be made to the Legacy of Life or the IWK. To leave messages of condolence for the family, please visit www.huskilson.net
