Obituary of Trixie Keough
Trixie Lena (MacEwan) Keough of Westville passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her home in Westville.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Joudrey) MacEwan.
Trixie was known by many in her younger years from working at the old Doctor’s office in Westville where she met her best friend of decades the late Erma Chennell. She enjoyed children, long walks and talking with various people out and about down street in Westville.
In later years, she enjoyed “her birds” coming to eat and visit as she watched on from the doorstep, visits from neighbourhood kids. Trixie was always making sure her grandson Nicholas (whom she raised) and great grandson Brenden were doing well and were always around.
Trixie will be dearly missed by friends and family; her children, Robbie, Marla, Glen, Kim and Carol; brother Elwood and several grandchildren.
She now joins her late husband George “Michael” Keough; son “Robbie” Robert MacIntosh; brothers Mike, Thomas, Allister, Dig, Bobby, Harry, Chester, Percy and Nelson; sisters Jean, Muriel, Brownie and June.
There will be a celebration of life for the family and friends at a later date.
