Obituary of Travis William Jackson
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our son, Travis William Jackson. Born Feb. 5th, 1989 in New Glasgow. Travis is the son of Karen Sinclair and Chuck (Muriel) Jackson.
Travis grew up in West River Station and resided many years in Halifax and in New Minas the past year.
He attended Northumberland High School in Alma graduating in 2007, in his earlier years he enjoyed skateboarding, hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods camping and hiking on Dalhousie Mountain. He recently started playing guitar loved motorcycling and spending time with his special pet Kali.
He is survived by a son Mason, brother Lucas (Megan), nieces Ellie and Kenna; step-sister Alicia Ward (Bryan); nephews Kyle, Troy and Nicholas; nieces Felicity and Katie, several cousins, aunts, uncles.
He is predeceased by grandparents Robert (Betty) Sinclair; Sonny (Muriel) Jackson; uncle Jimmy Sinclair and aunt Judy Jackson.
There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, September 23. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 24 in Eagles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating.
Donations in memory of Travis may be made to the Food Bank or the SPCA.
