William Arnold MacKenzie
June 16, 1949 ~ November 29, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William “Billie” Arnold MacKenzie, who departed this life on November 29, 2024, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia, Billie was a cherished son, father, brother and friend.
Billlie had a zest for life that was evident in his many passions. He found excitement in the world of NASCAR, tranquility in the great outdoors while camping and immense joy in the company of his family. His love for these activities brought him closer to those he held dear.
Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Elva MacKenzie; his sisters, Rhonda and Debbie MacKenzie and his brothers, Bev and “Kenny” MacKenzie, Billie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his brother, Donnie MacKenzie and sister, Jeanette MacKenzie; his sons, William and Matthew; stepdaughter, Angel; several grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces, and a host of great nephews and great nieces.
Billie will be cremated and laid to rest with his parents in Watson Cemetery, where he will be reunited with those who preceded him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember his warmth, kindness and the joy he brought into their lives.
Billie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and the memories he created will remain with us always.
