Terrio – 80, Bible
Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 25, 2024, at
Shannex Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Dartmouth, he was a
son of the late Wilfred and Lillian (Greenough) Terrio.
Wilford worked for 15 years at the nail factory in Dartmouth.
He was fascinated with tall ships, and had an extensive collection of
tall ship models. He loved playing crib, watching western movies and
was interested in horses.
Wilford is survived by his wife, Catherine “Cathy”
(Vicars), Bible Hill; children, Dolly Claridge, Dartmouth; Ann (Shawn)
McGrath, Dartmouth; James Terrio (Miranda), Dartmouth; grandchildren,
Ashley (Larry) MacLellan, Andrew (Michelle) Deluney, Airrick Deluney
(Cheryl Plant); great grandchildren, Gracie, Rhyliey, Robert, Michael,
Aydrein, Parker; seven step children; 10 step grandchildren; five step
great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. If so desired, donations
in Wilford’s memory to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or
Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed. Tributes, words of comfort and
