Stanley Lawrence “Stan” Blois – Truro,
passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Wynn Park
Villa, Truro. Born in Truro Heights, he was the son of the late Gordon
and Violet (Weatherbee) Blois.
Stanley was a loving, happy man, who cared deeply for his
family. He enjoyed his time at Wynn Park Villa and socializing with
the staff and residents.
Stan will be deeply missed by his daughters, Cindy (Doug)
Foley, Debbie (Kevin) Boates; son, Lawrence (Linda) Blois;
grandchildren, Jessica Boates (Trevor), Melissa Martell (Mel),
Stephanie Whelan (Mitch), Nick Boates (Vera); sister, Brenda Hingley
(Ross). His memory and kindness will live on through all his
great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa; grandson, Justin;
sister, Kathryn.
Honouring Stan’s wishes, his body has been donated
to Dalhousie Medical School for educational purposes, and there will
be no visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations can be
made to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Truro or Wynn Park Villa
(Recreation Department)
Stanley’s family would like to extend a special
thank you to all the staff at Wynn Park Villa. We will always
remember, and appreciate, the love, entertainment, and laughs provided
to Stan over the years.
