Randall Phillip “Randy” Murray – 65,
Bible Hill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 24,
2024, at Shannex Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born in Saint John, New
Brunswick, he was a son of the late James and Joan (Ferns)
Murray.
Randy worked as a long-haul trucker and travelled all over
North America. He was an arm wrestling champion, but under that tough
appearance, he was fun loving and a true character, with one never
knowing what he was going to say or do! He had a soft spot in his
heart for his beloved Golden Retriever.
Randy is survived by his brother, Alexander “Sandy”
Murray, Nova Scotia; uncle, Ivan (Betty) Murray, New Glasgow; several
cousins, extended family members and friends. Along with his parents,
he was predeceased by his brother, James “Jamie”
Murray.
Special thanks are extended to the staff at Shannex Vimy
Court for their care and kindness, and to Trina Currie for her
friendship and support.
Spring interment will be held in Oakhill Cemetery, Milford.
If so desired, donations in Randy’s memory to Colchester
East Hants Hospital Foundation are welcomed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Tributes, words of
