Wilson, Otis Reg, 93, of Truro,
passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024, at The Mira Long Term
Care Facilty Truro. Born in Truro he was a son of the late Bert and
Hannah (Bilby) Wilson. Reg was a former supervisor for Brookfield and
Scotsburn Ice Cream. He is survived by niece, Katherine Kavalek;
nephew, Wayne Watson; special cousins whom he loved very much, Wade
Bilby and his wife Rizalina, Diane Bilby; He was predeceased by his
wife the former Frances Crowe; brother, Stanley Wilson, sister, Hazel
Watson, sister, Ina Wilson, brother, Earl Wilson, sister, Betty
Wilson, sister, Etta McAleer, sister, Shirley Wilson. Reg’s
family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ellis for his years of
care and the staff of nurses and CCA’s of the Mira Primrose
Lane. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A private family graveside
service will be held at the Plains Road Cemetery in Debert. No flowers
by request. Donations in Reg’s memory may be made to the IWK
Children’s Hospital Halifax. Private messages of condolences
