Lorraine Ann Howard – 67, Truro, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at home, due to natural
causes. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William
and Clara (Ralph) Howard.
Lorraine was a dedicated and long-time employee of Crossley
Carpet Factory, a job she worked at for her entire life and from where
she retired. She lived a quiet life, and in earlier years, she enjoyed
snowmobiling.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Helen (James
“Jim”) Russell, New Glasgow; two nieces; five nephews. Along
with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Bill (Eva)
Howard.
Interment will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 7,
2024, in Stillman Cemetery, Stillman, Pictou
County.
If so desired, donations in Lorraine’s memory to
Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
