Leah Morris MacIntosh – 85, Bible Hill, passed away
peacefully on Sunday morning, April 21, 2024, at Shannex Vimy Court,
Bible Hill. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred
and Olivia (Crawshaw) Gouchie.
Leah is survived by her children, Allan Archibald (Kathlyn),
Balfour, British Columbia; Barbara Archibald, Bouctouche, New
Brunswick; Schelé MacKay (Aaron), Truro; Wallace Archibald
(Tricia), Clive, Alberta; Jason Ryan MacLean, Saskatchewan;
grandchildren, Aaron, Mellisa, Susan, Jami, Amber, Tyler, Riley,
Ethan, Danielle; great grandchildren, Maranda, Rebecca, Sierra, Kaden,
Grayson, Emma, Eva, Vera, Amira; great-great grandchildren, Emerson
and Logan; sister, Agatha Smith, Amherst.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her infant
son, Daniel Archibald; sisters, Rachel Farrell and Irene Weatherbee;
brother-in-law, Carl Smith, all of Amherst.
We will remember Mom for her energy and passion for life, her
love of skating and dancing and always being in style and wearing her
lipstick.
Many thanks to those who helped make Mom’s end of
life journey a bit more comfortable. It was noticed!
Honouring Leah’s wishes, there will no visitation
or funeral service. If so desired, donations to Colchester SPCA are
welcomed.
