It is with great
sadness that we, the family of Kevin MacKenzie, announce his passing
on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Colchester Easts Hants Health Centre
with his family by his side. Kevin passed after a long battle with
cancer. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Clyde and Enid
(Nichol) MacKenzie. Kevin spent the last years of his life looking
after our mother in her home.
Kevin is survived by
his brother, Alan “Marven” MacKenzie (Patsy Brown), Lower
Debert; nephew, William MacKenzie, Lower Debert. He was
predeceased by brother, Gary William MacKenzie.
The family wishes to
extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at both Truro
and Halifax hospitals for their care of Kevin over the past few
years.
Arrangements have been
entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young
Street, Truro. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations to a charity of choice in memory of Kevin are welcomed.
