Kenneth Marriott
Marriott, Kenneth Allan – Age 85, Bible Hill. The family of Kenneth Allan Marriott is saddened to announce his peaceful passing on March 14, 2024, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. He was a son of the late Steward “Slim” and Marjorie (Lane) Marriott.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kevin, Bible Hill and sister, Dianna, Halifax.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Greta (Bevis); son, Stephen and brother, George.
Kenneth worked as a refrigeration technician as well as ran the Dutch Mill Motel in Wallace. He loved to renovate houses and could make anything old look new again. Fishing and hunting with family and friends were also favourite pastimes. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida after retirement as well as seeking out every yard sale and flea market that he and Greta could find. Kenneth loved his wife and family unconditionally.
At Kenneth’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
