Allan Tattrie
Tattrie, Allan Frederick – Truro, passed away, Saturday, March 9, 2024; one day after his 75th birthday. Born in Tatamagouche on March 8, 1949, he was the son of the late Fred and Dorothy Tattrie.
Allan had many jobs over the years, his last being with Thermo Cell Ind. Allan liked going for rides on his motorcycle and spending time at Sunset Watch Campground.
Allan is survived by his wife, Velma (Daye) Tattrie; daughter, Tracy (Dwayne), Onslow; granddaughters, Stephanie (Brett) Wilmot, Amber Perry and Emily Perry; great grandchildren, Austin, Brylee and Ireland, grandson, Aiden Perry all of Truro; step grandson, Tyler Hutchinson, Onslow; sons, Michael (Cindy); grandson, Nicholas, Salisbury, Randy (Lindsey); granddaughter, Dakota. He is also survived by sister, Beverly, Truro; brothers, Dougie (Kathy McKay), Donnie (Wendy MacDonald) and Cecil, Tatamagouche.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Emily and Maletia; father and mother-in-law, Percy and Mary Daye; brothers-in-law, Jim Daye and Sam Rafuse.
A visitation to celebrate Allan’s life will be on Saturday, March 16th from 2 – 4 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
