Robert “Bobby’ Dale Wall
February 2, 1959 – November 11, 2023
It is with forever broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bobby Wall.
Bobby was the son of the late Katherine “Kate” Wall of Tatamagouche Mountain. He was raised by his grandmother, the late Lillian Wall.
Bobby graduated from North Colchester High School in 1977. He then went out west to work at the family business, Sunrise Sandblasting. Following that, he worked as an oil rig mechanic until he returned home to Tatamagouche with his brother Murray in 2008. At the time of his death, he was employed with Aquashell Holdings in Wallace in the maintenance department and as a lobster processor.
Bobby was a quiet soul with a big heart who was always ready to lend a hand when needed. He was a huge Edmonton Oilers fan as well as a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacklyn “Jackie” (Ross); his fur buddy, Jack-Jack; stepdaughter, Dawna (Allie) MacConnell; stepson, Sandy (Nicole) MacConnell and his pride and joy, his three grandchildren, Anna, Lilly and Sophia. Also left to mourn are his six brothers, Darryl Wall, Alta, Todd (Shelley) McGowan, Sask, Murray Wall, The Falls, John Wall, Tatamagouche, Ross (Anne) Wall, Hilden, George “Jordy” (Brenda) Wall, Alta; four sisters, Muriel (Henry) Roberts, Tatamagouche, Cindy (Kevin) Flottemesch, Alta, Lori (Eric) Orich, Alta, Cheryl Cronin, Alta; several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as adopted family, Alan (Karen) Carmichael, Tatamagouche, Alisa (Alan) Head, Lantz, Mary (David) Carmichael, Alta, Robert (Pam) Carmichael, New Minas.
Along with his mother and grandmother, he was predeceased by seven brothers, Guy Wall, Sterling Wall, Alvin Wall, Doug Wall, Ronald Wall, Carl Wall, Brent McGowan as well as his two best friends who were like brothers to him, David Murray and Dale Carmichael.
Visitation for the late Bobby Wall will be held on Monday, November 20 from 2pm-4pm with funeral service at 4pm both in St. John’s United Church, Wallace with Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Reception will follow. Interment in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to the Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter’s Funeral Home in Tatamagouche.
