Cyril Camus
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Cyril Camus on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born March 29, 1969, in Cheticamp, he was a son of the late Levis and Marie Cecile (Bougeois) Camus.
Cyril is survived by his spouse, Tamara Renouf; daughters, Samantha and Sabrina; son, Michael; sisters, Betty Ann (Wayne), Mary Victoire, Muriel, Donalda and Diane; brothers, Peter Paul, Lomay and Richard; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Alex, Andre, Alphonse and Joseph Daniel (in infancy).
A special thank you and sincere gratitude to our friends, Millage, Brandi, Brianna, Nathan and Lexi (his beautiful godchild) for their help and support. Also, thank you to all our family and friends in Cheticamp and Newfoundland.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to charity of one’s choice.
