It is with great sadness we announce the
passing of Leo Joseph Hachey, age 87 of
River Philip. Leo passed away Saturday, December 21st, 2024 at the
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the
late Joseph and Philimene (Boucher) Hachey.
Leo was a self employed mechanic for
over 30 years who enjoyed mechanic work. His life long ambition and
hobby was cars.He will be sadly missed by son Christopher; daughters,
Susan White, Lisa Hachey and Diane (Roger) Gallant; brothers, Leonard
(Helen), John (Patsy) Hachey, Gerry (Arlene) Hachey, Norman (Marg)
Hachey, Ivan (Helen Smiley) Hachey, and Joe (Norma Jean) Hachey; many
grandchildren and great-children; as well as nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by sisters Liza Rector, Yvonne Dupuis and Julie Cove.
Cremation has taken place under the
direction of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane St., Springhill, (902 597 2361). By request of Leo there
will be no visitation or service.
If so desired, donations in Leo’s memory
may be made to a charity of choice.
