HILLMAN, Shirley Jacqueline, age 91, Oakfield, passed away peacefully at Braeside Home for Special Care on May 15, 2024, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. Born in Wheatley, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Adeline (Stahlbaum) Rock.
Shirley loved everything about living at the Lake, the wildlife, nature, feeding her birds and creatures. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. When she was able to, Shirley enjoyed working in her greenhouse and tending to her flower gardens.
She is survived by sons, Rod (Lisa) and Rock; estranged daughters, Wendy and Lee; grandchildren, Thomas, Julie, Ethan, Emma, Tiffany, Brittany, Katrina and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother Frank, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
