BERNARD , Martin James Jr. – age 58, of Indian Brook, passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on October 12, 2023. Born in Truro, NS, he was a son of the late Martin and Regina (Copage) Bernard.
Martin was employed in the family construction business, working with his father.
Martin is survived bother, Robert Bernard; sisters, Charlotte Bernard, Linda Bernard; Step-mother, Mary Lou Bernard; step-sisters, Janice Paul, Vanessa Copage; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Peter, numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.
Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Phil Thibodeau officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
