Obituary of Doris Carol Densmore
DENSMORE, Doris Carol – age 90 of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024, in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born on July 13th, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Georgie (Bates) Clark.
Doris lived most of her life and raised her family in Stewiacke. She was very active and could be found at the golf club in the summer and the curling club in the winter. Doris was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren who have many happy memories of staying at Grammie and Grampies.
Doris is survived by her son, Brian (Wanda), Stewiacke; daughter, Beverly (Paul), Shortts Lake; beloved grandchildren, Meghan, Nicholas, Natasha, Kelly; great grandchildren, Charlie, Reeve, Leo, Frances; sister, Avis LeVernois, Dartmouth.
Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Carl; sister, Betty Regimbal; brother, Morris Clark.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Her family is grateful for the care and dignity Doris was given in her last years at Cedarstone Enhanced Care.
