Age 84 of Port Dufferin. Died Tuesday May 28, 2024 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Moncton, NB on July 16, 1939. She was a daughter of the late Perry and Christine (White) Horseman. Donna worked in her earlier years at Moris Chocolate Factory in the Oxford Theatre, after that, she was a stay at home mom. Later in her life, she was a receptionist for her husband’s optometry business. Donna was an avid gardener, she enjoyed knitting and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed baking and she was a former member of the Eastern Star. Donna was very interested in her grandchildren’s lives. Survived by her husband John, of 62 years; children Kristy (Jimmy) Bezanson, Cindy Hamelen, Janice Johnson (Alfred), John (April); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Juanita Beeler, and Gloria Hartling. Predeceased by brothers Perry and Robert; sister Sandra Newell; one grandson Taylor. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Monday June 3 at 2 p.m. is DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. Burial will be held at a later date.
