Richard Douglas “Dougie” Murray, 60, of Lower South River and formerly of Mulgrave passed away on Monday January 15, 2024 at the Burnside Correctional Facility. Born Antigonish, he was the son of the late James Douglas and Edna Jeanette (Marshall) Murray.
Dougie is survived by his partner of 35 years, Mary Hendsbee; children, Jamie Murray, Dylan (Kelly Layes) Murray and Dalton Murray; sisters, Amy Murray, Veronica Murray and Rosie Meagher.
He was predeceased by his father, James Douglas Murray and mother, Edna (Marshall) Murray; brothers, Jamie and Donnie.
