Patrica “Patsy” Ann King was born in Arichat, on March 27th, 1962. She passed away surrounded by loved ones by her side on December 31st, 2023. She was loved by all who knew her and yet it surprised her with all the Christmas cards and gifts from people when we planned on an early Christmas for her.
She loved to take care of people – she loved the company. She was a home body. She would get dressed up on a Saturday night just to stay home. She was a hard worker and loved to clean. The broom is being retired. All who knew Pasty will know exactly what that means. She had a great soul, was kind and helpful. She has left a gap in all our hearts.
Patsy was the daughter of Florence King; (Walter King; pre-deceased) sister, Darlene King; brothers, Charles, Joseph, Paul (pre-deceased), Adam King (Roxanne Young-King); nieces, Felica, Alicia; great niece, Abby; many aunts and uncles; as well as cousins near and far.
A special thanks to Laurie O’Brien, Stevie Sampson, Joanne Laundry, Shirley Ann Moores, Sallyann Mombourquette and also a very special thanks to the Strait Richmond Hospital and Lesley the Palliative Care nurse.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Funeral Mass on January 12th, 2024, at 11am from the Holy Guardian Angels Parish, L’Ardoise.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
