KLINE, Edna Bernice – Port Hawkesbury. With heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of Edna Bernice Kline of Port Hawkesbury, formerly of River Bourgeois on Friday, June 14, 2024, in the Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s. Edna passed surrounded by her four boys, who she loved dearly.
Edna suffered a stroke in 2020. She showed her strength and resiliance despite the challanges she faced in the days and years after.
Edna is survived by her sons, Willie (Suzanne); Danny (Pauline, mother of children); Jason (Stacey); Darren (Brandi); grandchildren, John, Devon, Jaidon, Jake, Jensen, Delaney, Austin and Jada; great-grandchildren and sister, Linda (Donnie). Edna was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Marjorie Pottie; her partner in life, Jimmy Samson; grandson, Lucas.
Edna was known for her meticulous hair and her beautiful jewlery. She liked a good cup of coffee and especially her Pepsi. She adored her four sons and their families. She will be held close in our hearts and missed dearly.
We would like to thank the staff of Richmond Villa for the outstanding care they gave our dear Edna.
Cremation has taken place as per her request and there will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date.
“And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.” Louis Armstrong
