CRAWFORD, Natasha Elaine – The family of Tasha, age 51 of Truro, is saddened to announce her sudden passing on April 3, 2024. She is survived by daughter, Kaylie Crawford; parents, Doug and Georgie (MacLeod) Crawford; sisters, Mary-Jane Crawford and April Crawford (Mark Graham); brother-in-law, Nino DeNicola; nieces, Emily DeNicola and Danica Graham; nephews, Justin DeNicola and Kurt Crawford; great-niece, Maya Jane Myers; uncle, Tom Crawford; aunts, Bev (Roger) Henley and Kay Stevens; cousins, Stephen, Sandra, Heather, Tracy, Beth, Pam and Peggy. Tasha was predeceased by her grandparents, Norman Crawford, Jean Crawford-Lane, Chet Lane, MacIntosh MacLeod and Nellie MacLeod; uncles, Donnie Crawford and Lloyd MacLeod; aunt, June Crawford. Tasha was known for her contagious laugh, large personality, unique sense of humour, compassion for everyone, love of the beach, music (especially Prince and The Rolling Stones), fast Fords and stock car racing. She was an animal lover as well as being very artistic and musical. For most of Tasha’s life she suffered from Myasthenia Gravis and Lupus but throughout it all she maintained a positive attitude. The colour purple was of great comfort to her. Tasha’s family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Diana Jones-Locke, VON Colchester, NSEHS, Truro Fire and Police Services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. A celebration of Tasha’s life will be held at a later date.
