Obituary
Brown, David Colin – 76, Westchester Station, passed away at home on March 8th, 2024. Born in Westchester Station, he was a son of the late Roy and Rachael (Ferguson). David worked for over 33 years with CN Rail based in Truro. In his retirement he worked at blueberry farming and producing maple syrup. David loved baseball, either playing or coaching, especially with his sons. He coached the Wentworth Cougars to an Atlantic Baseball Championship. David also enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing and trapping. He is survived by his wife, the former Judy Manuge; sons, Quincy (Faye); Darcy (Jo-Ann); daughter, Sonia (Alan); grandchildren, Olivia, Dylan, Sadie and Macie; sisters, Willa Loughead and Mary (Ron) Ryan. He was predeceased by brothers, Max, Percy and Fred; sisters, Minnie, Helena and June. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
